Dr. Brent Parrott

Dr. Parrott, the oldest of Dr. Harvey and Karen Parrott's five kids, spent his childhood and adolescence in Paradise; was active in sports, church, and scouting. After attending college at BYU and serving as a missionary for two years in Spain, he took his wife and daughter to Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska, where he attended dental school and had two more kids.
Dr. Parrott thought following in his dad's footsteps and becoming a dentist would be the ideal career with the freedom and time to be a great dad, his biggest goal. This decision was solidified when in college he went to another dentist and experienced a "typical" dental visit. After that, he decided the world needed more gentle dentists and changed from computer science to pre-dental.
After 10 years practicing in the Phoenix Arizona area, Dr. Parrott finally got to realize his dream of having a supportive wife and joining his father in practice in Paradise.
Both Dr. Parrotts have focused on staying current with technology and implementing those things that would benefit their patients most. Because of his passion for gentle patient care, Dr. Parrott typically takes over 100 hours of continuing education a year and is continuously looking for ways to better help more patients.
When not providing or training dentistry, you will find Dr. Parrott teaching the youth in Sunday School, on Lake Oroville, or visiting one of his kids.
